Spring Love

Hi Dearies

Today I share a LO with theme as spring......who doesn't love beautiful flowers fresh.....lots of colors very pleasing to the eyes....lovely butterflies...flying from flower to flower......lots green everywhere. Its truly beautiful to see out of your window into the garden and feel this bright sun and colors. Inspired I sat down with my coffee and started playing around with this LO.  Hope you guys like the way I have done this.

I used DCWV Little Princess Baby Girl Collection paper 12x12 for background, G45-Botanical Garden paper strips for layering, stencil- used Prima Spark stencil with White Heavy Gesso,  Dusty Attic chippies embossed with Lindy's Drop Dead Diva Embossing powders, Lindy's Drop Dead Diva Sprays for background, also I used Papericious Oriental Collection & Heartffelt Creations Rose Collection and made my own flowers by spraying the paper with Lindy's sprays and diecut the flowers ....I wanted the flowers to be mild and fresh blooms, around the LO I stamped few leaves and branches with stamps from Itsy Bitsy and used Versamark Pigment Inks, Micro beads, fussy cut butterflies, glitter stones.

My focal picture I choose the little cutie, she's my crafty friend's niece JIYU.....I love this little damsel and this pic was very neat coordination with the LO and colors which I worked on.

Altered Box

Hi Dearies.....

Today I have an altered chocolate box, inspired by Finnabair's Wax Madness.....I got my new set and could not resist myself using them and doing an altered project. So here I share with much excitement.

I have used three techniques in this project, i have done fabric sculpting for the bottom and for the lid I used foil, and on top again used glue gun technique. The icing on the cake was the colour change when I used these waxes on this project.  I literally jumped out of excitement and happiness that these waxes were creating. I'm totally in love with these.........as a creator what more should I be asking!!

I covered the white cloth which was a carry bag, cutoff the handles and used the body of the carry bag to cover the base of the box.  I used sculpting technique and fixed the cloth with 3D Heavy Body gel. For the lid, I used kitchen silver foil used for packing, and on top of it gave glue gun shots randomly. Later covered with Heavy Black gesso and used Alchemy Opal Magic Turquoise Satin, Blue Velvet,Acrylic Spark -Unicorn Hair...........Vioooolaaa....my eyes popped out.

I truly could not take my eyes off and these waxes smell so gud!!!

My Prince

Hi Dearies

Today I have a LO to share with you all.  Went head on heals with the mood board inspiration everywhere and was really interested in playing with the colours and fab textures.  So I picked my take on the little art  and went into total out and out Masculine theme .........(not my usual self where I use lots of flowers and my fav butterflies ).

I have used  DCWV CS, Prima White Gesso, Dustty Attic Stencil, Lindy's Magical Blue Mica Powder, Distress Crayons Blue, Finnabair Patina Paste, Art ingredients, Wooden Chippies, Finnabair New Sparks Unicorn hair (its just lovely!!),3D Matt Gel, Micro Beads, Micro fine glitter, Art Stones (Finnabair), Metal Charms, DCWV paper strips, cheese cloth, black sisal, Heidi Swap stickers and word phrases.

I firstly applied clear jesso, then heat set the LO, later started treating with lots of textures with gesso, colours, cut strips of paper, distressed the edges,  for more colouring used Lindy's Mica Powder, Distress Blue crayons and coloured the LO,  used 3D Matt Heavy body gel to stuck beads, art stones and placed the charms hand wrote the sentiments, fussy cut, stuck the stickers and phrases around the layout, used the phrases which were apt for my son as he is one (LOL)! Finally, gave white jesso splashes around the LO.

I choose my son's pic as the model image......he's a teenager and I was happy I was creating this for him as he would always say I don't do anything for him .......while I keep creating on custom orders...(LOL). This was truly nice and I enjoyed working on this as this was the first time I was using so many textures and layers and was truly happy the way the entire LO turned out.  Its immense pleasure when you do for your loved ones......(LOL) I made a loud one too I feel.  He's my ever charming PRINCE. A Happy mom I feel!!
